Our Veterinarians

The dedicated team of Vets at Mill Road Vet Hospital are a diverse and highly skilled group who are constantly upskilling to be able to deliver the best results for your pets. Some of the special interests covered by the team are Surgery, Radiology, Medicine, Veterinary Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Exotic Medicine and Ultrasonography.

Our vets are available for consultations from 7.45am until 7pm Mon-Thu, 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am - 3pm.

OUR Vet Nurses

Janelle, Shelley, Ngaire, Chani, Angela, Laura, Zoe, Carla & Alena are all qualified veterinary nurses and are all committed to ongoing learning.

Their responsibilities include care of hospitalised patients, including the critically ill and animals in isolation, preparing the theatre, instruments and patients for sterile surgery, monitoring anaesthetics and post-operative care.

They manage our in-house laboratory and of course are experts in the gentle restraint of our more reluctant patients!

OUR Receptionists

Rachel, Kelly, Keiran, Betty, Julia, Aby and Holly will most likely be your first point of contact when you come in or phone the clinic. As animal lovers themselves you will find them friendly, compassionate and ready to help in whatever way they can.

They will be able to deal with most of your enquiries and will pass on any they can't to one of the vets. As well as looking after all our clients in person and on the phone, and running the retail part of the clinic, they also do all our administration. These ladies are the masters of multi-tasking!
