Didier Poot, BVSc
Vet & Practice Owner

Didier grew up in Belgium then studied veterinary science in South Africa. After graduating in 1990 he headed back to Europe and worked for 5 years as a small animal vet in England.

Didier joined Mill Rd Vet Clinic in 1996, became a partner in 1997 and now owns the practice with fellow vet Michelle Eyre. His special interests are surgery, radiology (xrays) & ultrasonography in which he has undertaken considerable extra study in.

We have a state of the art ultrasound machine and Didier now has thousands of ultrasounds under his belt as well as having attended various workshops and spent time with Auckland's ultrasound specialist. He now undertakes outpatient ultrasounds for practices from around Northland.

When not at the clinic Didier enjoys time paddle boarding, reading, cycling & travelling.
