Elaine is from Scotland and gained her Veterinary degree at the University of Glasgow in 1999. She worked as a small animal vet in Glasgow for 8 years, in several different practices, including a state of the art Accident and Emergency practice.

In 2007 she immigrated to New Zealand; what was meant to be a two year stay ended up becoming permanent when her whole family fell in love with our beautiful country! She and her husband have settled in Maunu with their 3 lovely girls and a menagerie including chickens, pet sheep, guinea pigs, rabbits, ponies, cats Dave and Lily & dog Sanchez.

 Elaine has a special interest in eyes and has recently expanded her clinical skills in this area, successfully completing a postgraduate certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology from Massey University.
